about ricardo

Growing up in Puerto Rico, I observed how people and nature could co-exist in harmony. Today, that principle guides my work: I design spaces that are attuned to their surroundings—and are highly functional and clean.

Drawing upon my formal architecture training, Master's Degree in Historic Preservation from Columbia University, and 20-years of experience in exhibition design, I create concepts that are visually appealing and responsive to the tastes and interests of my clients.

In my work for history and science museums, I integrate objects, photographs, and media into spaces to convey powerful narratives about people, culture, and nature.  I apply similar sensibilities to residential and commercial interiors, creating elegant environments that reflect the personal needs of the people who live and work in those spaces.
